# Privacy

webular runs on your machine. It has no webular server, so your searches and pages never pass through us.

## Who sees what

A search goes to DuckDuckGo, or to Wikipedia, Hacker News, or arXiv when you pick that source. Each page you read goes to that page's own site. With a Jev key, the judgment calls go to TypeSafe. With no key, nothing goes there.

## Your disk

Pages are cached on your disk in `~/.cache/webular`. `WEBULAR_CACHE_DIR` moves the cache, and `--no-cache` skips it.

## This site

This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking.
